The Countdown Begins

Tina here, So glad you joined us! Did I mention that we are beyond excited about the wedding?.... Just thought I would mention its 65 DAYS TILL THE WEDDING!! Oh My Goodnes!!! Talk about very little time, and then after that there are only 138 Day's till CHRISTMAS!! ekkk!

Last weekend, I went to Park Royal with my future Mother In-Law and Father In-Law and together we picked out the most beautiful wedding band! I can't wait for everyone to see it.

This weekend, I'll be busy planning decorations for the tables and the centrepieces. I'm so thankful that Auntie Karen is helping us out for the wedding day's with the decorations. There is no way I could put items together so easily like she can. I'm getting a burst a energy just thinking about how she'll be able to put everything together and I can't wait to help out! Its probably going to be a long day with sweat, blood and (happy) tears! I can't wait to start making a mess in my parents house! hehehe

Wedding Registry Wish List

Hello Family and Friends,

This is Tina sending a message. I am beyond excited to be getting married this year. I can't believe that it is actually happening and that I am marrying my very best friend. As you already know, Robert and I have already been living together for a  couple of years now and its been amazing! Since we already live together, we already have most to the supplies we need in a home. We decided to use this wedding as a chance to upgrade what we already or to get some supplies we might not be able to afford. As mentioned in the post before we are also registered at the Bay. You can easily search us by either of our names (Tina Louie or Robert Thomson). When you purchase something from the Bay saying that its for a wedding regisrty they automatically take it off the list so someone else is unable to purchase it as well. Therefore no doubles :)

We have a few supplies that we are wanting that the Bay registry doesn't seem to be able to offer. So we thought that we would create a list on this website. Here's the trick, we don't seem to have anyway of knowing if there is going to be a double buy, and since we want it to be a suprise we've figured out another system. That's where our mother's come in. They both will have a list that will be updated throughout the next few months. So before you buy, please check in with them to make sure that nothing has been bough. We'll be updating the list through out the next couple months as things grow on our wishlist.

The Scottish Cultural Centre has been chosen for both the ceremony and reception October 12th 2013.

Hotel Rooms @ River Rock

We have booked a block of rooms for October 11th and October 12th. It's $139.00 for a room with one king or two queens. You may be able to find a better deal online but this is the deal the hotel offered us.  

Guests can call and ask for the Thomson-Louie Wedding. The toll free number is 1-866-748-3718 and ask for reservations.

The River Rock is about 4km from the Scottish Cultural Centre.

And again, just a reminder that 30 prior, September 11th your rooms will be released so after that date they can't guarantee the special rate.
